Can I change my protein? +

You can Swap for proteins you don't want or have allergies to and we'll also accept some dietary restrictions if you email support@thegourmetanimal.com. The kitchen will swap a protein on our Full Menu for the one you don't want.

When is the New Menu Available for the Next Week? +

We make the new menu every Friday evening at 5pm. This menu is 9 days out from our delivery of that menu on Sunday.

Do I choose my menu items? +

No! You don't choose a thing. If you don't like a certain protein or have vegetables you don't like, we are happy to Swap Protein for you and omit allergenic foods. Just hit up our support bubble to get in touch with the kitchen.

Why are you more expensive than others? +

Let's face it, premium quality costs more. Wild caught fish, grass fed/finished beef, organic produce and our style of cooking just costs more than commodity food cooked on the cheap. We also offer more premium protein per portion than anyone in meal delivery.

Will I lose weight eating The Gourmet Animal? +

Absolutely & without a doubt. We don't feed you fillers like rice, pasta, grains, so we don't hide behind food that slows you down. This is premium protein, healthy fats, and organic vegetables.

Do you count macros on each dish? +

Nope. We don't believe in it. Our food is as clean as it gets without simple carbs, gluten or simple sugar.

Is the food fresh or frozen? +

Our food is fresh, never frozen.

How many meals per week? +

Our portions are large and we designed our meals to have 2 servings of each dish. But everyone eats differently. Suffice it to say, you'll have plenty of beautiful food in your fridge for whatever plan fits you.

What if I’m not home? +

We deliver locally in LA and include 2-3 ice gel packs in your delivery. The food will be good for at least 4 hours outside, but we recommend being home soon to put items in the fridge.

Do you deliver across LA? +

We basically cover LA from the Southbay to DTLA, the Valley to Santa Monica and all points in between.
