Yes. We want to make your life easier. We don't hide the fact that you are subscribing to a weekly service. You can Skip weeks, Pause, and Cancel in the Customer Portal by logging into your account on our website. This must be done before our Order Cut off On Tuesday at 6pm.

We have 3 Plan Sizes and 2 Plan Lengths 

The Stag- Perfect for one person, core meals handled
The Lion- Feeds 1 person the whole week, no grocery runs, no ordering online 
The Bear- Family fridge, handled. No cobbling whatsoever

Why yes! Each dish is packed ala carte. If you order the 3 Day Plan you will get 6 dishes, 3 entrees and 3 sides. Each dish is designed to be eaten twice. If you order the 5 Day Plan, you will receive 10 dishes, 5 entrees and 5 sides.

Our mission is to source the best in class meats and organic produce you can find in Los Angeles. From grass fed beef, forest raised pork, sumptuous lamb, and organic poultry, we’re here to find the farms that ethically raise their crops and animals.  For our seafood offerings, we use wild caught fish and the best aqua culture seafood in the world.

Our menu changes every week — no choosing from a list. If you have an allergy or want to skip a specific protein, simply use the Swap option and we'll replace it with more of what you love.

We are not interested in narrowly defining this style of cuisine, but it is in line with the ketogenic and low carb high protein diets with medium fat. This style of eating also includes healthy portions of organic vegetables and low FODMAP foods. We do not use any seed oils, simple carbohydrates, added sugars, gluten or GMO produce in our food. We do cook with gluten free soy based products such as Tamari and premium fish sauce made without shellfish.

We cook real food—not factory food.

Each week features different cuts, proteins, and cooking methods. A braised beef dish loses moisture differently than a grilled steak. Bone-in chicken yields differently than boneless. Wild fish, meatballs, lamb, and slow braises all cook differently.

We portion every meal to match your plan's protein target, but because we use premium, minimally processed ingredients, individual dishes may occasionally be slightly above or below their target weight.

For example, meatballs or chicken tinga may contain a bit more protein, while premium cuts like hanger steak, flat iron, or ahi tuna may contain slightly less. Across the week, we aim to deliver the protein level you've selected.

We'd rather serve exceptional ingredients than engineer every meal to hit an exact decimal on a scale. It's one of the tradeoffs of cooking like a restaurant instead of a factory.
