It is not hyperbole to describe finding GA as an actual dream come true. We have long searched for seed oil free, ancestral, intelligent and yes delicious food options in LA with very underwhelming outcomes. Enter Chef Chris and his life-changing ways!! This has been the most powerfully healing food discovery we have ever experienced. Note-- my partner builds the best restaurants on the West Coast and I will still happily choose Chef's Chris food over almost any dine-in option. His flavors!! We swoon. It is like eating around the world. Never boring. Also it is far, far more cost effective than anything else you can do to get yourself quality nutrition. We are beyond grateful to have found GA! May all the people who deserve him, find him. And may we all know how lucky our city is to have Gourmet Animal. Props, Chef C!!

I had been looking for a high quality meal prep delivery, after trying several in LA and being disappointed. With Gourmet Animal I found what I was looking for! Life is fast and busy and sometimes you need help feeding yourself adequately but while also satisfying your inner foodie. :) Gourmet Animal DOES it! The quality of ingredients comes through in the flavor, down to the seasonings and sauces. If you know your food, you will love this service! Price wise it is very fair, considering the quality and labor involved in preparing meals like this for yourself, family etc. Especially in our lovely but very expensive city of Los Angeles. The Chef is obviously serious about delivering a high quality and tasty experience to his customers. The passion is there and it is clear in the customer service, personal communication and most important--excellent food. I certainly found what I was looking for here and I hope you do too!

I happened upon The Gourmet Animal on IG. This type of service is something I have searched for for years! I’m very busy, am a foodie, have recently lost 60 lbs, and want to eat healthy and clean. The meals from TGA are exceptional! An 11/10! I have been recommending TGA to many friends and people I work with in advertising. Amazing!

I’ve tried several meal prep services, but this one stands out for two reasons: the exceptional quality of the meat and the sheer convenience it brings to my week. The beef and chicken in particular were on another level. The difference was palpable in the taste and texture - tender and perfectly cooked, and the flavor is rich and fresh, a clear sign that they’re sourcing high-quality ingredients.
Beyond the ingredients, the preparation is top-notch. Everything arrived fully cooked, well-seasoned, and ready to heat and eat. Having a fridge stocked with healthy, great-tasting meals all week was amazingly helpful for my busy schedule. No last-minute scrambling, no takeout junk—just delicious, balanced meals whenever I need them.

I was very hesitant but excited to try this meal prep company when I saw the ads on social media. I consider myself a foodie as I enjoy cooking and eating all types of food from $2 tacos to multi-star restaurants. I love it all! This meal plan leaned closer to the restaurant meals I’ve had! The menu was well curated and I was able to mix and match the proteins and vegs together. Although I did the 3 meal plan, it was enough to last a couple additional smaller meals. I would definitely recommend this meal prep company; the food was delicious and restaurant quality.

This is the service I’ve been looking for. Waiting for. Needing. I’ve tried every healthy meal delivery service out there. They range from inedible to meh. The Gourmet Animal is chef’s kiss. The Gourmet Animal is pretty fantastic. It checks those many important boxes about eating healthy food that you may not be able to find and prepare yourself. Simple instructions accompany your order to warm up etc. The packaging is sturdy and beautiful, arriving with excellent weekly delivery, all topped off with great customer service. We have really loved enjoyed our experience with The Gourmet Animal.

The Gourmet Animal ticks all the boxes! The quality of the food is incredible, and it tastes amazing. The customer service is also next level. Yes, it's slightly more expensive than some other meal delivery services, but it's 100% worth every penny.

Meals are always on point, cooked/seasoned/prepared to perfection; never disappoints. Transparency of food sources and the high degree of food quality is much appreciated. ordering and delivery process are easy/seamless. Another meal service could not do better.

I've tried a lot of other meal plans but get tired of soggy microwaved food or endless streams of salads. Gourmet Animal provides fresh, flavorful food that feels elevated. I'm a fan.

Okay, so the headline is that the food is DELICIOUS, extremely high quality, cooked-to-perfection, and varied. The flavor combinations are exciting/interesting. The packaging looks very professional and the instructions are very clear. I also appreciate the multiple emails on delivery day so I know when the food will be arriving ahead of time.

Quality food is so important to my family. We love to cook but don't have time to make shopping for and prepping food a priority. We travel internationally just for restaurants/food experiences. We enjoy fine dining often here in LA.

I love that Chef Chris is so transparent about where he sources his ingredients and that he supports local growers/sellers. Despite all the positive reviews here, I wasn't sure what to expect with this local service compared to one of the big meal service companies, but this is a no brainer. I feel so incredibly spoiled and lucky that we get to enjoy this food every week.

Menu is interesting, creative and quite diverse for a delivery service. Full of flavor. Tastes like quality ingredients. We have truly enjoyed the food, such a gem!

I’ve been looking for the perfect meal delivery service for many years and have tried everything!!! I finally feel like I’ve found it with Gourmet Animal. I love how tasty and flavorful their dishes are while also maintaining quality ingredients, and gluten free, no sugar added, etc. Customer Service is also immediate and kind!… My kids also like their food which is really hard to find! So excited about Gourmet Animal and highly recommend!
