I’ve lived multiple lives, from Division 1 athlete, actor, filmmaker. And none of it felt as true as being in the kitchen. After grinding through Hollywood, I came to cooking with a vengeance. A pandemic, a personal trainer, and 30 pounds lighter, I rebuilt my food philosophy from the ground up: grass-fed meats, heritage sourcing, clean fats, zero seed oils.
The Gourmet Animal is the result. It’s not meal prep. It’s a rebellion against industrial food.

This isn’t a diet. No fads here. We don't even count macros. This a smarter, easier way to fuel your body, backed by real results and actual experimentation. Best Sourcing, Period.
We cook exclusively with the finest ingredients: local, organic, and in-season produce; grass-fed, pasture-raised beef; premium aquacultured and wild-caught seafood; and trusted poultry such as Jidori and Mary’s chicken. We source from the same farms, fisheries, and butchers relied on by top Los Angeles restaurants. If it is factory-farmed, heavily sprayed, or mass-produced, it does not make it into our kitchen or onto your plate.
We size our plans in lbs per entree, meaning each entree you receive would be either a 1/2 lb, 3/4lb, 1 lb, or 1.5lb portion. All vegetable sides are designed for 2 servings each.
3-Day Plan- You will receive 3 entrees and 3 sides, all the under 3-Day Menu on Next Week's Menu. Six dishes total x 2 servings each = 6 Meals.
5-Day Plan- You will receive ALL of the dishes on Next Week's Menu. That is 5 entrees and 5 sides. Each dish has two servings for 10 meals.
For example, if you order the 3-Day 1lb Plan, then you would have 2 servings of 8 oz of each entree. And two servings of 5 oz of each vegetable side.
Not exactly. We prepare a fixed menu each week that includes 5 protein dishes, 4 vegetable dishes, and a Salad. You may choose to swap a protein on the menu for another by selecting which protein you don't want at checkout. The kitchen will substitute another entree from the Week's Menu if you are on the 3-Day Plan. If you are on the 5 Day plan, we will double up an entree for you.
We don't allow cherry picking the menu every week. But if you want to email support@thegourmetanimal.com we'll do our best to accomodate.
No. We don't count macros and don't believe in counting them. Our food is gourmet healthy and comprised of best in class proteins, local vegetables, organic dairy, and single source olive oil, ghee butter, coconut oil, and tallow.
When you eat this way, counting Macros is a thing of the past. But if it's important to you, we urge you to track your own using an online app.
The Gourmet Animal meals are fully cooked and ready to eat, but you will need to be okay with reheating the food. We intended you to slow down, and reheat the food in a pan with oil or in the oven. We don't recommend t microwaving this food, to get the full experience of our intentions at home. We provide easy-to-follow reheating instructions for each dish on the menu included with every delivery.

All of your meals are delivered together on Sunday between 9am - 12pm. See our delivery page for more info.
Each dish is packaged ala carte. Entrees and veggies are packed separately. Giving you flexibility on what to eat with what and when.
We also include a sauce box with sauces on the side, unless they are a Main component of the dish like Chicken Tagine and Beef Bolognese, then the sauces are included with the dish.
